Jeff McConnell, a seasoned contractor with over three decades of experience, has always been driven by a passion for the art of construction. His expertise in creating unique and exquisite designs is well complemented by his wife, Laura McConnell, who had a fulfilling 26-year career as a nurse. Laura’s career spanned various critical roles in the ICU, ER, and OR, and even extended into management, showcasing her dedication to helping others. However, following back surgery, Laura’s nursing career came to an end, prompting her to seek new avenues for her passion and skills.

Living just a short walk from the lake, Jeff and Laura often found themselves inspired by the serene beauty of their surroundings. Laura’s vision for transforming the local lodge into a general store and wedding venue was initially met with hesitation by Jeff. Yet, her persistence and enthusiasm eventually convinced him to explore the idea. Their combined determination and hard work led to the birth of Eleven Lakeside, a stunning wedding venue that offers breathtaking views of the lake, embodying elegance and charm.
