Nestled in the scenic New Kent County, Antebellum offers an enchanting venue for unforgettable events, strategically located between Williamsburg and Richmond, Virginia. Spanning 17 private acres, our venue boasts a 5800 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor event space, featuring a grand 2000 sq. ft. vaulted ballroom and a spacious prep kitchen equipped with an ice machine. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a double-sided bar and large bathrooms, while the 60 x 22 covered patio, complete with a fireplace, provides a cozy ambiance for evening events or cocktail hours. Our second level, highlighted by a double staircase leading to the dance floor, offers a picture-perfect backdrop for stunning photos. For added convenience and elegance, we provide two 1000 sq. ft. suites with dressing rooms, full baths, and makeup and hair stations, ensuring that every detail of your event is well-catered.

Established in 2018 by a dedicated female family, Antebellum is a labor of love, inspired by the grand homes of Charleston, South Carolina’s historic district. The distinctive “Haint” Blue ceilings on our porches pay homage to our southern roots, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our venue is perfect for hosting weddings, corporate events, or special family celebrations, with a 12-hour rental package that includes 180 fruitwood Chiavari chairs and 18 60″ round tables. We also offer a Rental room as an optional add-on to enhance your event décor, ensuring that your event is as unique and personalized as you envision.

At Antebellum, we pride ourselves on our strong relationships with a curated list of preferred vendors, known for their exceptional service and quality. While we welcome outside vendors, they must adhere to our contract guidelines to ensure a seamless experience. Our team is more than happy to provide brochures, cards, and information on trusted vendors we have collaborated with over the years, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. Additionally, we offer assistance with securing an ABC license and day-of insurance policy if required, further simplifying your event planning journey.
